Community Health Care

Holy Spirit Hospital have Community Health Centers that are opened through six out-reach clinics in the slums around the hospital area, providing health care to the poorer section of society. A team of Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers and other paramedical staff work daily in these centers providing both curative and preventive care. The hospital serves as a referral center for these clinics and tries to make health care available at a reachable distance and affordable cost to the economically backward and the marginalized. Preventive health care is provided through Immunization programs, Antenatal care, family visits and Health Education. The Community development programs are; Health workers Training Program, Balwadi, (Kinder-Garten), Supplementary food for the preschool children, and Vocational training programs for women. School health programs and AIDS awareness programs are also conducted from time to time, besides the medical camps organized at slums and tribal areas.
